thats the way to do it. you got to be really really unlucky or a complete prick to be booked for no rego.. and even if you do at $200 you have to be booked twice in 6 months before being in the red.

or commute on it, damn parking wardens. I put 12 months on the bros a few weeks ago, so I aint get hit with the price rise till next year, and if my electric works well, I'll do same as meanie with the bros, and commute on electric, which is cheaper cos its a moped

VTR's rego has expired. Gonna try and buy 15 months at the current price before it goes up.

Exactly what I am going to do with mine, have it only exemption (hold) for another couple of weeks, then will rego for 15months at old rate....................MR27 Andrew is the form you will require.

Just did my first little protest against the rise in rego and put Monies bike on hold for three months. We will register it in three months for six months then on hold for six thus only paying half yearly rego. and yes we will still ride it when we feel like it

just been out for a test ride of my electric project, seemed to go alright and would be good as for a 50kmhr commuter, though it did have a wee fault where a bit of it caught fire when it hit about 50kmhr. meh, progress is progress though and it was cool to ride...

hmmm, what you want in that situation is a KERS (kenetic energy recovery system) you 'engine break' to spin up a flywheel to bout 50,000rpm, then it gives you bout 60hp or less when it spools down, last bout 30 secs iirc so plenty to avoid the popo.

well once its running right you're all welcome to take it for wee test rides, will have to fix the catching fire issue first though, was pretty glad I was wearing all the gear

i see you've used wood on the bike..... perhaps replace that with a less flammable material
