Yeah, I've been ringing around town this morning trying to locate a Motobatt. AFC seem to be the only crowd that stock them, but sold my model on Thursday
If I have to order a battery, I may consider being a guinea pig for a Shorai battery. Not cheap, but I like the idea of not charging, serious grunt and saving about 3kg in weight.

I just ordered mine off a trademe chap (Morrinsville I think), $90 including shipping....all good, and the best part about that price is not being concerned about getting a new battery every 3-5 years. When I had to get one for the VTR (first battery I've bought in years) they quoted about $500 odd. Even they couldn't believe it so went a searching and found one with the same rating etc for a lot less.
Best way to look after ya battery is to ride ya bike...
