Camera adds 10 pounds, so that seems normal
Another great day riding, had Croz-Larrikin Biker to return to library,as someone pre ordered it and couldn't extend the issue,so rather than post it back did the next best thing and rode over from Napier. What a ride, stopped at Tui brewery for fathers day catch up with Tickford guys and gals, then over track to Palmy, coffee with daughter(her pressie to me was I buy her milkshake),then back home.Even sitting behind a cop car 4 back didn't take gloss off trip, and when he turned at Dannevirke was good.Onto H/W50 and was going to pass an R8 Commodore until he sat at 120-130km,so sat in behind all the way to Taradale, was fun and no cops to be seen a few bikes on way home, and all waved lol.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Had a good wee ride over the track and back today, HH pads make for some good stopping! Maybe the master rebuild helped to. Damn good to clear the cobwebs after a winter of mostly commuting.
And her gel implant turned up in the mailbox, gonna feel noice. Pretty much fits the seat shape exactly for the back 3/4, front 1/4 will get extended a bit to fit the tank better.
About a fortnight till FNRs start up now too isn't it?

So what do you think of the following bikes for all around ability. Honda XL650v (transalp) or BMW F650GS.
You Thoughts Please.
He who dies with the most toys.
WINS
Both have got pretty good reps as far as reliability go. I think I'd prefer the Transalp for the engine although I hear that they do like the gas. There's a guy who goes on the BRR rides who rides two-up no worries on a Transalp.
21" front on the Honda and 19" on the Beemer...
