indeed, i better get my van stuff done asap then so my schedule is clear, gotta weld new air and water pipes up, EW to NS conversions are not as easy as one could hope. Worth noting i have borrowed a welder for the weekend, so could mumblem mumble mmmnm .... and attach huge bore load pipes to the RG, and/or chuck a bit of active baffeling in there to open up with the powervalve

Have you had any trouble with where the top coolant pipe exits the head on the new motor? Be a rangi and carb the prick, makes life easy and it's not hard to set up a optical dizzy/ cam angle sensor to tell a set of coil packs what to do
Yes lets make a two smoker that does silly things

oh yes, both water pipes ext the rear of the engine, gonna take the head one up and across the top of all the injectors, and just loop the pipe of the water pump back round and under the exhaust manifold hopefully, don't wanna try welding the current pipe in case i fuck it, tried swapping the pump over so it would exit in the right place but then the pulley offsets don't work.

Sounds like fun! I'm doing a temporary motor swap into the bmw at the moment, throwing a scummy 202 into it untill I do the v8. It's going to be amusing, I may have to make my own sump and oil pick up and am going to have to do some fun "lets hope like fuck the driveshaft is balanced after welding and chopping it up" work. And build a set of headers for it

sounds like quite a bit of precision work, dont want an unbalanced driveshaft pulling loose at speed. I my be able to hook you up with any CNC milling bits if you need something real precise.

Yeah I saw them today, they are not nice in a car either let alone being on a bike. Not sure why they are there.
