Very Nice, How many letters did you have to write, or was it the sitting on his knee that did it, No seriously, well done, be good to see ya out on it.
Now, now children, no fighting
That's for sure, great choice, he's just jealous!
Keep me posted, would be good to get away from the house.
Seriously though. all I did was post a question on the Motorad sight on Sunday, then Monday 9.00am Carl phoned me, organised everything (including the main stand that I wanted), kept me updated, offered to bring both of the bikes up (two trips), gave a fair discount without me even asking. All I had to do was organise the $$, Insurance, and take the VL to work. I really owe my Boss big time too; he let me go out on work time for the demo.
With the other weeks "issue" still fresh in my mind, I am absolutely amased at the service from Motorad. Recommend them to anyone.
Now I really am a Bonnie girl
apiti loop is generally considered; ashhurst -> pohangina east valley road -> apiti -> kimbolton -> cheltenham -> back to feilding/palmy/whatever
sounds like you're doing kimbolton -> rangiwahia -> mangaweka, which is a bloody good run too....great twisties north of kimbolton
if you come from feilding/cheltenham, about half a k after kimbolton you'll see a lookout and then a turnoff to the right, that takes you down to apiti

Right on, yer we did kimbolton - Mangaweka.
The first 15k of that road is sublime, clean, not very bumpy, no surprise decreasing radius corners, nothing too off camber..
Then we got held up by sheep
Then the last 10k to Mangaweka got very dirty from all the slips/rain. Was a good ride though, were originally going to go through Pohangina, but that road turns to gravel pretty quick..
Finally done my Southern Cross write-up: http://banditrider.weebly.com/2009-southern-cross.html
