This is quite old now but still pretty amazing.

Nope the Veyron manages 0-300 in 14.8s, which is about the same as a 600cc supersport bike will do 225kph in
Very amazing, did you know top fuel rails/funny cars cannot run the length of an NZ track due to there not being barriers on both sides for the whole length? It's not a safety issue, it's because the amount of pressure from the exhausts is used to steer the car, when the barrier ends, they would lose control.....scary bloody things.
That also means if you did the test on the RC211V they have in that link, you'd get blown off your line and probably crash....
That looks like a nice practical bike, I'll take one thanks.
It would out run it after around 340km/h, only if the F1 car was running full downforceand only if the veyron had it's spoiler down etc. I'd love to see them go side by side though! What an expensive race that'd be....use the Veyron Super Sport just for a laugh, 1200 hp

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
just, you know, as you do....
I'd say you're right, I think some research may be needed here
Here we go, I'd say you'd be pretty hard pressed to trump that in a Veyron, would run out of gas before it could get ahead (May be some slight exaggeration on my behalf) http://www.bornrich.com/entry/f1-lan...aches-bonhams/
This is a far to familiar sight

Rocker cover gasket.
Pretty the rocker cover up.
Replace all the O-rings in the cooling system.
Re-tighten the manifold bolts, number three was loose![]()
Check the oil cooler, just because.
Throw another stator at it.
Front tyre to go on, once I have the correct bit to remove the axle.
Good fun on a rainy day
good fun eh? nearly almost bought some juicy new tires today. also found a guy who's keen to roll me a pipe to bypass my stupid big heavy cat converter.
