Should be a good ride for pillions - looking at the piccys there doesn't seem to be any need to hurry...

YOu said it is 152km long, I am guessing that is the highway itself, so, what I am asking is, how to get there and how far away from here it is/???

heading away straight after work morrow nite staying with another kber as its a really early start on friday ... then hook up with dogs (he might cook me breaky)
before i start the long trek ....

back late monday ..

actually looking forward to my first official tour on Betsy thats the adventure & should lead up nicely to the gissy ride in a few weeks .. should be doing over 1000 ks in four days

Just mapped it out on map source and it comes up with a total of 588 km to do the loop. Ashhurst - Stratford-Taumaranui - Ashhurst

while the monster is a great bike, it wasn't built for long distance riding in mind.... I need to shell out on a new Sergant seat but for now will try and tough it out....Lots of photo stops lol

cheers just packed the camera ... it will be a cruisy ride down so plenty of stops with pic taking opportunities .. monday will be a bit more of a dash back

Yes lotsa stops i agree... I am sure my little "spongebob" will not be spongey enough when I think about how long a ride it will be...may need a few days to recover but from what I have seen and heard it will be worth it!!
