Doug and I are going to Hastings tomorrow around 9:00-9:30am from my place. If anyone is interested in tagging along sing out.
This wont be a race (Doug is not a quick rider) and there will be stops along the way.
Possible route- Saddle Rd, Top Grass, Ormondville, Waipuk, inland at Waipawa, Patangata, Elsthorpe or alternatively Middle Rd, Havelock North then onto Hastings. Subject to change.
If we see any bikes at the Ashhust Mobil, will try to convince Doug to go the main rd from Palmy to Ashhurst, we'll just bowl on through and those there can catch us up, which will be easy enough. We wont be in a hurry.

whats this weekend i keep hearing so much about is it an old person thing?I gota start getting some so I can ride with you all more often was great fun friday.makes solo a litle boreing.almost ahd to turn back and offer those girls a ride.thought better of it knowing I had nowhere for my pillion to sit once the girls (yes plural) were on the bike

Worthy cause. Was an of the cuff "lets go for a ride Sunday" invertation one just cannot refuse. Doug has a small stationary steam engine he's delivering to a gent who just happens to ride m/cs as well. I'll try and get some pics of his rides if permitted.
