Plus, I picked up a little bug on the last day on the African mainland that just seemed to make sure I didn't stray too far from the 'convieniences'

But I'm just about right now and am looking forward to seeing if the Daytona still works I'm sure she does and it will be nice to get back on her.

I'm in two minds about whether to head up to Turangi soon, as the boat has been left languishing for months and it NEEDS a run.

Here's a few pics, there's 1000's and we'll have to have a photo evening when Sarah gets back with the rest of them! Word of advice if anyone goes on safari in Africa - take a decent camera! My little Kodak just coundn't keep up, but you get the idea
wicked... Good to see ya back mate.....I'm keen for a photo night if I can tear myself away from work

Yes, looking forward to hearing some of these, doesn't sound like the Manawatu to be suffering 'loss of traction issues' - touch wood

Well, after my best of intentions about getting the boat out, I realise that the Nissan has a WOF and Reg which is only about a month out of date, the boat battery may possibly be flat, it was windy, and I couldn't really be arsed driving all the way to possibly be fined AND not being able to start the boat. Battery's been on charge and I'll invest in a new jump start when funds available.

    Masterton may be a go

After my little bought of insomnia yesterday I hit the starter button at 730 am. She fired up first time, this being the longest she's not been run. Down to the BP for the first decent pie in 3 weeks and some gas. Triumph's don't die, they just get faster

Yep, you'd be pretty shagged if you got in the middle of that little scene alright! Luckily, the season lasts for two weeks and they don't eat at all. But you wouldn't want to be around on the 15th day I tell you that!!!

Thanks Anthony. Good to hear you're going to be back on the bike Was planning on getting out last night but I've figured out that the anti malaria drug I still have to keep taking is making me sick so I wasn't up for it. Strong stuff but all part of the trip.

Good ride today though, a bit woozy but managed an excellent ride with Chanceyy, Oscarnz, Blacksheep, and Rottiguy. Great ride guys, good to catch up with some of the crew again Will have pics and a shit talking session with some of the other rouges soon

awesome ride today, really enjoyed it (apart from the wind on the way home). Rode some great roads today, great practice for my cornering.

yeah it was a great ride .. a weeee group but it was fun for sure ... went down my favorite road it has a wee bit of everything ... nice sweepers a few twisties .. a couple of corners that could catch you out .. and of course loose livestock

great chance to chat at the cafe & good to see Garry A (we have to distinguish between Garry H & Garry A from this point forward) and Julie nice wee road .. dunno why we have never travelled that one before ...

BTW thanks for the ride on the RF Garry ... .. catch up next week for a few twisties to try as well

might post up a pic or two (think thats all I took) laterzzzzzzzzz

hope your feeling better soon Sir Matt .. pity you could not make your own ride .. next time
