...and on that note, and not to be out done on the latest trend of biffing bikes down roads...

I passed my Licence test on 100%. woohoo! Thanks Phil Turnbulls for the loan bike. However... Mellissa was on her way to do hers when she stopped at a pedestrian crossing to let a young girl cross on Kimbolton road.
When she found herslf looking up at the same girl, who was now crying, from 10m further down the road, she figured the moron behind her DIDN'T stop. so she joined in the crying... and bleeding.
Loaner CBR looks to be a write off and it ended up under the guys car and got dragged. A few parts are now AWOL as they were ground into powder and simple ceased to exist.

Mellissa appears to have hit the mirror on the way through the front and has a neat and very deep hole punched into her thigh from its mounting bolt. A bit of bruising (ok... alot) and possible concussion as a bonus prize.

Luckily the second car back was an off duty ambulance officer and best of all... the third car back was Constable Gregory Stone. He rocks and looked after my girl bloody well all the way to the bed in A&E! And he witnessed the whole event.

Sadly... she failed her Licence test due to a "No Show".

Bonez was right. an awsome night for a ride. was late leaving home so thought i might catch up at the Stump but no one there so did the Mangamaire - Track loop. Was parked at the Rondevous - Sommerville Heights and saw a yellow and a blue Triumph shoot past. Somebody has good taste in colour! (and in bikes.)

The garage needs a big reorganise Sarge! That blue is extremely nice and I'm in two minds as to which bike I prefer myself. Can't wait for a decent fang on the blue one but I've taken off the chicken strips to start with and adjusted the suspension which was rock hard and threatening to bounce me off

Bugger Al I heard about it through the grape vine, yep they even have one down here thanks to cell phones
Pleased you guys are ok. Know how you feel to damage the bike though

    Good on ya Mike

Nice bike Sarah, Monie loves the colour and says she already has the assesory blue sunnies
Cant wait to have a look at it up close
Gidday James, hope you're all having a good time down there Yep, dropping the Daytona was gutting alright but it will be fixed.

Good on Mike eh! I saw Carmen today and she was certainly appreciating being back on the road

Awesome, both of em! Sarah's is very 'rorty' due to the pipe, mine's much more refined. The blue one came originally came from WMC and they gave us some 'gremlin exorcism' advice which seems to have done the trick nicely

See you can have fun on a old, that hasn't fallen to bits in 20 years, underpowered bike with budget shocks, cheap helmet, second hand protective gear and combat boots.
Bloody hell, there's a lot of wildlife around these days! Had too many near misses lately. 1 dead magpie, 1 very lucky rabbit, and those are just the ones that didn't get out of the way. Sounds like a good one tonight!

Saw Betsy in PT's today while I had a new rear put on and brake pads done. Paul introduced me to one of those jackets as well, bloody great deal!

Holy crap wondered how you guys got on with your licenses .. so lissa will have a few war wounds to show for it huh .. if you were going to have an accident how much luckier can you be to have both a cop & paramedic on hand to witness the whole thing though ..

bugger bout being a no show .. hmm wondered if it would be a special dispensation for being in an accident esp since its not your own fault ... cause going through the whole licensing process is not exactly cheap

tell lis hope you heal quick chick,

Had to read this a couple of times just to get the picture. Mellisa must be a very sore girl right now. Thank fuck it wasn't any worse. What a time for it to happen just before the learners on a loaner bike!

All the best for a quick recovery Mellisa.

Shit not good at all. Hope Melissa is ok.
Doesnt sound like she was as lucky as me when I got rear-ended.

In regards to her licence test, get a refund form from AA, sent in with details, police report etc, and she should get test fee ($70.80) refunded. Let me know if you have any problems with doing that and I will advise what you need to do.
