well Betsy is fixed a bit of creative sorting out & her clutch cable is off a ag something a rather (farm bike) .. but works thats the main thing

had an awesome morning test riding bikes

loved the Bandit 600 instant fun & corners great at 120 + .. then it was time to take a brand spanking new 1250 bandit (with abs) .. but since it only had 2 ks on the road only a short spin was asked (no demo model & its already been sold)

then as a comparision nzsarge trusted me with the fazer keys I even came back

loved the 600 that was a total blast ... the 1250 hmmmm yeah would love to try it around a few twisties & sarge's bike totally different to the bandits of course .. would love to try that on a few twisties .. Hint hint :

just waiting for another delivery to test ride within the next week & a new bike will be hopefully not far away ...... watch this space

funny have ridden betsy again after the mod bikes .. blardy hell she has no brakes but she can still make ya grin




ok morrow its the delivery trip to pick up Delphinus Coil for his trumpy to wangas way (once I tee it up with Ynot slow) ... any takers ??? at this stage looking at leaving palmy about 10.30ish - 10.45 Met at BP Rangitiki st . (west side of the square) & taking some back roads to wangas ,...

Just pmed ya about food,great minds eh as I get a pop up alert hehe.

Try the GSX650F as well read the write up in BRM mag sounds damn good and priced well too,also the Kawasaki 650s seem ok too.

yea +1 to the gsx650f is the upgraded version of my bike in about every single aspect .its even got FI

but im not sure its worth paying $12,000 just for a 650 with fuel injection when you can get a 750 for $9,000 minus the FI

Could be ,will have to see as my rear brake reservoir is slowly leaking somewhere over my swing arm, bubbling the paint ,suspect its the diaphram at this point but no luck with a quick fix so far,tis got me stumpt really.

Guess i have to bite the bullet and bring it into the dealer

Yea the hornet is still here but its being borrowed by my brother for a parapara ride tomorrow ,thats why i am just trying to get this blimmin brake reservoir sused out on the katana

well just under an hour on the hornet .

Have your plans been cemented for the timing yet? We have Mikkel staying, dingoz itching for a ride, Nasty and I always up for a ride and Kendogs having a barbie for the visiting Rockers at noon. Have been trying to figure out if we could get from Palmy to Wangas to Welly in 90 minutes ... didn't have to figure long But ... there's always a but ... if ynot slow isn't a morning person then we might be able to do barbie then the wangas ride

Hmmm, very very very tempted.

Spent most of yesterday burning the dried up tree branches and clippings. No neighbours complained or council visits this time. Rung Doug but he has other plans involving painting stuff. Will most likely go for a quiet wee poodle with him on Monday.

Plans are cemented .. we are meeting in palmy leaving at 10.45 .. stayed in palmy last nite, be at the Bp rangitiki st .. ( if you guys came from welly & took the opiki turn off towards longburn & turn off at the rocket again (way we came home the other day ).. go over the major intersection & head to the first set of lights & turn right & bp garage is couple hundred meters on the right

we are heading to Hawera to met with tony & have lunch .. be a direct route there but on the way home we plan to do the back way from wangas .. well turakina valley is looking pretty good back roads to marton & across to halcome road ... & meeting delpinus at cafe cuba for the coil handover
