You must have stopped for a smoke or something...never saw you on those big straights coming into Masterton.

Yeah was a good blast, hoping the 2CT's i've got waiting at PT's will give me that extra bit of feel in the front and yield that last bit of confidence.
I swear though, you were'nt more than a few ticks behind, all good for riding a new bike for the first time!

Yeah, to say I was enjoying myself is an understatement! By the time we got out to CP I was starting to work the bike out. The motor makes it pretty easy to ride and it handles pretty well. I was a lot more cautious on those back roads from Pahiatua through Alfredton etc. Pretty greasy in places there. The tyres must have got a scrubbing as they felt a lot better in the wet on the way back.

Need to try and work out the fuel gauge & range a bit better - I only put 12.8L in at Pahiatua, would have made it home easy without stopping. Might try and find an owner's manual online...

    Bugger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the day off yesterday and could have come along for the castle point ride.... Damn it.. Guess it's my fault for thinking there wouldn't be anything on in this weather....

Took the bike to work the morning of the rather rough wind and rain.. Needless to say it was left there for a night and I aquired a ride home...Not fun coming off the massey bridge and almost ending up in the paddocks on the wrong side of the rode. Went as far as almost scraping the gutter on the other side, lucky there was no oncoming traffic...

Anyway, I am away to the sunny Waiouru for 3 weeks tomorrow... bbbrrrrrrrr

Will come on later to say my good byes lol

Sarge is always doing that, wait untill he passes you round the outside and casualy takes his left hand off the bars while scraping his pegs to give you a wave.

Yeah I quite liked that one too. Wrong bike in picture though and I had to wait for some bugger to get out of the shot.
