ok then..

my gearbox has been making bad noises and i got it looked at and they said that the gearbox was f**ked..

so i was thinking mabey it was time to upgrade..the engine that is, not the bike..

ive heard that the FZR600R engine will go straight in..any1 know if this is true?
What else will need 2 be changed?
and mayb where i might locate a 600 engine/gear box?

I believe the swap is pretty simple. I think all you need to do is modify the top engine mount or something like that. The hardest part will be probably finding a FZR600 engine to put in it.

How do they mean 'fucked'? They are usually OK...

Some 600 engines will fit BUT you will need the carbs, exhaust, electronics etc as well... Not cheap..
