Well what a great pre TCWNR ride. I headed down to the elephant pond late and the only other person whom turned up was Wasp. After quick chat he said that he was gonna bail and just go home. I mentioned my plan B - head into Welly and try and do some Big Dave type photos of the bike.
This sparked Wasp up and he was dead keen to do that. first things first we had to have some kai so i was kindly invited to he Man House in the Newlands Elite Region - boy did i feel honoured... grabbed some fish and chips and headed to the house, met Mudboy and AJ Turbo. shared a few laughs and watched some mad police chase stuff on tv.
Around 8pm Wasp asks "So you still gonna take those photos" with which followed my reply "Yep". I think he was hoping id say no so he had a reason not to head back out. So the 3 of us AJ, Wasp and I suited up and headed into Welly.
What a fantastic night - was clear skies, flat harbour and wonderful display of city lights. We searched for the ultimate photo locations and they turned out not too shabby.
Think the few people who happened to come across three fellas taking photos and talking shit found us great entertainment, though even after AJs request we still did not recieve a topless model.
Cheers for the great night Wasp and AJ - really enjoyed it, oh and damn those bikes sound good through the echoes of the city street.
Heres some of my better pics - gonna have to suss out my camera settings(RTFM) as the majority were blurry as a blurry thing.
