I might still come just to Pukie to watch and time people though.
oh mate! You're kidding me! Thats a serious downer. Now who am I going to follow to get faster? Might have to tag along behind ol' loosie

come along and give me pointers. I reckon you've got at least twice the experience as me now out there.

It's just about braking later, going full tits on the throttle as soon as possible and carrying as much speed as possible through turn one and two. It's nothing out of the ordinary I guess, but to go quicker, all you need to have is more confidence. I will come tomorrow. I better pick up some ear muffs otherwise I'll get a massive headache at track with all the noises.

yeah, i'm looking forward to improving castrol curves a LOT tomorrow cause I spent 1/2 the day practicing through there especially last time. If I'm at 120m on the anchors at the hair pin I'll be happy and hopefully I can spend the rest of the time trying to get a consistent punch out of the hairpin.

mm... time for a good sleep and a decent thrash tomorrow! woohoo!

The weather's all good out my way, a little overcast, but no sign of the R word.

Another Open Day survived unscathed, which is more than I can say for about seven other bikes. We only got three sessions, but it was a good day. Lots of bikes, so the track was very crowded.

I have created an album in the gallery if anyone has photos to upload.

Awesome fun! Gutted that there's not supposed to be another one until next year :disapint:

Very proud of myself due to the state of my tyres and right peg

I'd also like to thank everyone for putting up with my slow arse.

    Cheers!

Nah mate there was nothing wrong with your pace mate, you have good lines and keep it up, your doing well..... The 1000's were worse too pass because of they often took weird lines and changed their lines too.....

Awesome day, 30 odd bikes in total....... Pretty pleased with my effort on the 400, just heard i had a best time of 1:12 flat with heaps of bikes on the track...... Looking forward to having a go in F3 class and having a clear track to put down some fast times.... Good too see MR turn up and eventually race, Spank had a great pace (in other words he would pass me and i wouldnt see him again.......) Couple of fast racers turned up, Jared Love on his Factory CBR1000, Mike from team metalform racing and Squid.....

I had a couple big slides on the hill, one where my peg dug in and lifted the rear a bit, and the other from where the tyre lost traction (not sticky enough for me, i need a Supercorsa on the back)..... Just need to go faster into Jennian and turn 2...... KK, your a bloody legend and fucking fast, i cant wait to watch you pull into the distance in F3.....

Hoon, top effort.... Had a spill in the 1st session and was back racing in the 2nd and 3rd....

Good too see that both That Guy and Curious George got there bikes running and on the track....

Great too meet heaps of you people and hope too ride with you guys again soon....

Hope everyone else fills in on the details.....
