I'm seeking employment, anybody on kb have any positions going?

Ive been unemployed for a while now...been offered some jobs but each time the pay was not enough....it's not so much the pay $13 an hour roughly would be fine to start off with....

but i need alot of hours ... this is because my parents want me out of home... and flatting is damn expensive...so i need to be doing approximately 50 hour working weeks, more if possible.

preferably after something in the motorbike industry.

but yeah whatever you guys have got i guess anybody able ot help me out...and i spose if need be i am willing to move away from auckland.

if anybody has anything that would be much appreciated.

    Regards: Mark

Have you tried the personal approach Mark?.. buy that i mean, have you fronted up at any bike shops and asked the question?....Cycletreads perhaps? by doing it that way in my book, speaks volumes rather than waiting for a job to come to you...you go to the job!...you know what you want to do and thats a good start, seek and ye shall find....

oooh marky mark, you are opening yourself up to a world of mockery right there buddy! Be prepared for amusing cruelty.

Good luck in getting a job though eh! With unemployment at 3.6% it seems like it shouldn't be too hard, right?

Sounds like a modern yoof - want to be at the topof the ladder - but doesn't want to risk stubbing his toes on the rungs on the way up.

Good luck young SM - but in the real world just grab ANY job - you can climb up the ladder but at the moment you can't it.

Isn't minimum wage $12 anyway? He doesn't sound like he's aiming that high, the main thing he wants is a lot of hours.

    Lost and hopefully "found".

Congratulations skidmark, on winning your first competitive race! Yes, you were the fastest sperm!

The winners prize was the right to starve, die of thirst, freeze to death, die of the heat or get off your arse and find something to eat, drink and get protection from the elements!

No one said it would be easy!

Remember the other two million contestants that "lost" to you only lasted another hour or so before they were flushed into oblivion!

They would love to change places with you, I am sure!

You could have ended up a wank, a coitus interruptus, even as a fastest sperm who found there was no train at the station when you got there, if you get there!

You truly are one "lucky" son of a gun, you made it, despite the most outrageous odds, you arrived on your birthday a "human being"!

That's no mean feat, in fact it is a miracle!

Now you are looking for a "Job" and it sounds like you are asking for another miracle or a "handout" even!

You have to "earn" the right to daily sustenance and protection from the elements.

Other winner sperms will share theirs earnings through taxes donations "handouts" etc to get you started but the expectation is that you will develop skills and exchange work and effort in return for tokens that say you have added value to society and the tokens (money) represents your share and contribution.

So now that you have proved to be the "fastest sperm" in your heat, you now have the opportunity to prove that you are the "smartest sperm" as well.

You have been allocated approximately seventy years to accomplish it.

It's called a lifetime! (70 -75 years on average for males)

What you need now is not a "job" it's a set of "goals" a "plan" on how you are going to get there!

If you don't know where you are going, how will you know, when you get there!

Think about it, you have already used up twenty of your allocation of seventy years, what did you do with them?

    How many have you wasted?

You have got fifty left, what are you going to do with them, get a "job" or get a ""plan" together!

Anything is possible and what you think about most "will" happen for you, if you make it happen!

Train your brain to work like a heat pump.

You owe it to yourself but nobody else owes you anything, least of all a "JOB"!

Good luck with the rest of your life. Cheers John.

Well, I am almost through my Quota, I hope I learned "something".

Just gotta share, I graduated from the "School of hard knocks" that doesn't mean we all have to do the same!

Make every one of those years count for something.

Time is like land, there's only so much, it gets more valuable every day! Cheers John.

We can just cut to the end can't we? Here, I'll fill in the gaps...

    Mark - I wanna job
Everyone - get off your arse and get one!
    Mark - But I don't wanna work
    Everyone - *sigh*

and so the show goes on....
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
