    So is it like 'an un-cool thing' to attend the rally but sleep off-site? Mrs Oakie's sister and her hubby live about 3 kilometres down the road from the venue and they have a large comfortable spare bed and a well stocked beer fridge.

    no def not... esp if you invite your mates

    only possible problem is that the gates are usually shut and locked at a certain time of night till the morning, to keep in/out? all the ruffians, so you have to leave your bike outside the gates if planning on a late/very early departure

    gezzist crist, you lot get worse the older ya get... what a load a dribble and the rallys 1/4 of a year out, spose if I cant race at Invers then I might aswell do the Magpie again... but then you lot knew that.

    Well, maybe my wife might become a bit lonely that weekend....after all I plan to have my bike up and going by November and what better way to test her out than by going for a good ride down south....gotta get all the bugs outta the thing before Staging Post....bugger is I aint f***ed a magpie either....though i aint too keen on that Idea...

    Pretty sure they will be back in whatever city they came from by now.Never did find out what they were up to for sure.So how about Geraldine for lunch then?least that way i am assured of a big graze as once the bourbon starts flowing later chances are food wont be high on my to do list.

    sounds like a plan,was going to head up to winchester early,pitch tent and take off,closer to the time if you guys have an approx time for being somewhere near to Geraldine then sing out.
