Have you seen quikmaps? You can draw on the maps and you don't need google earth (better for people with crap computers), or KMZ files, it's all browser based. http://www.quikmaps.com/new Something to play around with for the future maybe.

yep, seen quikmaps and doesnt offer the detail the my mapping program does. I actually use trackmaker which is real easy to map out routes and shows every road/town name. It exports directly to google earth so takes about 0.00002 of a second to create a google earth file. Which is handy for me. Especially if I have ridden the road before cause then I can import the track directly off the gps and dont have to map it at all.

Feel free if anyone wants to remap the google earth file to quikmaps/google maps/ smaps or anything else.

Maybe for a honda rider. Thats ok. now you have a zuki you might be a little quicker. Move on to the kwaka and you will be in the 0.00002 range.

I dont think so. The withdrawl symptoms would be getting a bit much. He probably drove 199km to post that message.

    yeah im back....

been away, playing with other toys....

found a nice little kwaka but as you can see it needed a tool kit to get it going....but it was green....

also got some real beer for a change (brought a couple back to keep me going)

on Tuesday the weather decided to be agreeable and down came the white stuff, then the sun came out and we got some skiing in....

max speed about 75km (but i didnt have my fast skis with me)
