i got there a bit late, 10:40, found no trace, no chalk, no rubber, nothing.

so i got a full tank of gas and sped, non-stop all the way up SH1 to get to whangarei at around 12 noon. i rode around a bit looking for you guys, then went back to the highway just outside and waited,

and waited

tried calling people but didn't have numbers of anyone on the ride and couldn't get responses out of those with those numbers

i asked all the gas stations if you guys had stopped by

and got more gas

and waited.

about 1:30 i gave up and came back home, stopping for lunch at the bar by waiwera, and went back to symonds st around 4ish, no trace of anyone, talked to a guy, and came back home.

last time you guys left late and i didn't go cus i thought you left at 10:30, and this time you leave early and i come anyway! no fair!

best fun i had was chasing a holden, but he got caught by traffic after a while

it was updated that the departure time is 10am, i think we were 10-15 minutes late so we all left by 10.20

first stop was BP kumeu, was there for 10-20 mins. second stop was wellsford

i guess the main group isnt back yet... i had to leave the ride early. again. had to help a friend move but hes a biker too and helped me get started on the bike so thats ok

anyways was fun, but rather....er...dramatic after the wee incident. it was a massive pothole too though so it couldve happended to anyone really

Bummer you did not look left as you passed the caltex in Wellsford mate, we were waiting there from 11 onwards, you could have waited with us..lol Guess we eventually left there at about 12:30 and finally stopped for lunch at BK Whangarei about 3:15 pm!!
