    only by death.

i aknowledge he was a good friend to many on here. i was just using an example of death that you could relate to. this man was the same to other people as you are to loose bruce.

give both men the same amount of respect and dignity in death!
I just don't get how you compare the two... never met either, but Loose Bruce was a loss to society, a decent sort, a tax payer, a law abiding citizen (probably...?) but he has my respect.

That other one is no loss, maybe only to his kin... he is a P head, they don't have mates, most families wash their hands of them... they stuff up families and friends alike. He is not a decent sort, he is not a tax payer, and definitely not a law abiding citizen. Give respect to him? No thanks. Wouldn't give him the steam off my turd.

Truth be known, his family are probably relieved.

The only ones who will really miss him are the ones who went to get their fix from him daily, weekly, whatever, and now have to find a new source...

Give both the same respect? One earned it, the other didn't and died of his own hand. The two are worlds, and then some, apart.

like i said, if you can laugh at someones father/brother/uncle/son/grandson dyeing then wait until it happens to someone close to you and see how you like it.
While I agree the analogy made wasn't the best (motorcycle riders vs major P dealers/gang members) I do agree with what Lee is saying, he's 100% correct. While very few of us won't be attending the funeral or shedding a tear, to laugh about another's death is another level all together, were meant to be a lil more civilised than that.................aren't we?

ps: I recently met Carnalee on a group ride & can honestly say he is a top bloke
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Ooooh that's the second time you called it a choice. Mounting evidence now says drug addiction including alcoholism as a consequence of use is not a choice - people are genetically predisposed by chemical imbalances in the brain.

When such people use or experiment they WILL get addicted while others definitely will not. Dealers don't make addicts - they're born mostly.

Anyway it's only the media saying he was an all round creep - haven't they ever been wrong about someone? Like had they actually met the guy? Everyone is somebodies baby. But did the inmates miss him or the P bag most?

The vast majority of people on this planet who have read these stories have found at least one or two of them amusing.

I bet most people can't honestly say they didn't chuckle at the story of the guy who put a JATO unit on his car, or of the terrorists who blew themselves up an hour early because they set the clocks to daylight savings time. Can you?

So yes I can laugh at death.

Last night I held the hand of a close family member as she passed away. I went outside and had a laugh with my brother. hang me by the nearest tree now.

People get offended by different things. I think it's rich to come on here claiming your being offended by the death of a stranger (which we are assuming he is a stranger), and then offend every one else by using the death of members close friends to illustrate a point. It just sounds like someone who's priorities in life are winning arguments rather than practicing the respect that they're trying to preach.

Oh, so it is revealed... you're not morally on high at all, just a plain old run of the mill wanker.

Bruce earned the respect of others, and is remembered in death as a contributor to the lives of all he spent time with. The 'biggest P dealer in the BOP' (or wherever it was) earned the scorn of everyone, even his family if they've any conscience, and shall be remembered in death as a piece of crap who robbed the lives of all he dealt with. I spit on his grave, and laugh at his death. Now that you've dragged some innocent into your pathetic ramblings, I now wait for the day when I can spit on yours too.

Leigh - I am appalled that you raise such an analogy. Whilst I understood what you were saying earlier, to draw parallels like that is in the worst possible taste.
Our fallen friends dealt death only to themselves in a moment of stupidity. We've all done stupid things and got away with it. They didn't - that time.
As for that P dealer scum - he dealt death and misery to anyone he could, actively sought out more idiots to peddle his shit to, and profited from every sale he made. He, and those like him, are a cancer within our society, and like cancer, cannot be controlled. Either it is 'killed' or it kills you. Personally, I am glad he is dead, especially in the circumstances it occurred in. True justice.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

There is no reason to try and create analogies where there really aren't any. I don't understand why something in my life needs to be dragged down to the level of a scum drug dealer who totes guns. Motorcycles and riders don't have to automatically relate to everything that happens in the world.

Stating things like oh happy cos hes dead what about those who ride and die, to me seems pointless and silly.

Understanding that drug dealing causes extreme pain in peoples lives not only in the addicts but there families and their communities.

Riding a bike .. you can have an accident ... this causes pain, but its different ... there is an affect, but this in no way creates an analogy to the horror that this person had created before his own death.

Goblin, it aint worth it girl... he did not know Bruce, he did not know how huge a man he was in character... he is using someone he has never met as a tool to make his own arguement more "valid"... its cruel on quite a few people on this site and very low.

Leave him be... hold you head up high that you had the pleasure of knowing Bruce, like I do!

So who was the gutless little wanker who red repped me and didn't have the balls to leave a name?
Probably the same misguided fools that think drug dealers deserve respect in death.
How about I main line the wizz up your scrawny arm, and watch your eyes roll back when you realise 2 grams is gunna f**k you up big time!
Takes a bit to fire me up, but boy, best you don't introduce yourself to me.
And as for "grow up" .
