I'm still a riding newbie, but I'm worried about my suspension and want to get it checked. From reading a few threads in here, it's seems there's a few cowboys in the suspension realm, so if anyone can recommend someone, I'd appreciate it.

With any luck, Robert Taylor will chip in here and point you in the right direction. Good on you for picking up on the cowboys, too. I've seen on KB certain people giving very uninformed advice, in fact you would be able to write a comprehensive list of their knowledge of the subject on the back of a postage stamp with a carpenter's pencil. Cheers
One of the local guys will know who I'm talking about but there is a guy in town that works at a off-road bike shop who from all accounts knows his stuff.
Linton at D.A.S![]()
Thanks T.W.R, that's the guy I was thinking of.
i talked to a guy at Dirt Action Service (DAS) about rebuiding the shocks on a BMW i had at the time. He has a pretty well equipped workshop and an area in it dedicated to suspension work. He came across as a straight up sort of guy. If i wanted to do work on the suspension of either of my bikes i would be seeing him without reservation.
To anyone that ever told you you’re no good… They’re no better.
Yeah, Linton redid a shock for me too, seems to know his stuff.Only problem was like it took him 3 months to do it....![]()
The Heart is the drum keeping time for everyone....
