Goodness me hasn't the media been quiet about the WRC in the Waikato this year?

Took 3 of the WRC Show editors for a skydive yesterday - they videoed the whole event and may edit some of their jumps into the show - they edit the raw footage from each day's racing and put out the show that plays about 11pm that evening.

What a great life - 3 mid-20's guys, travelling the world doing WRC, MotoGP, Superbikes and F1.

Cows, Rugby, and Commodores. Thats seems to be the mind set of the locals. Sad really.
The gravel roads coming back from Cold Kiwi will be in an interesting state.

Yea, was hoping to take my dad to it this year, but insted am stuck in blenheim watching it at my mums Oh well, next year.

As for the show editorsMe, jealous, no way!
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

It's probably not getting so much coverage lately because of course it's not centred around Auckland. Pisses me off because I'd much rather watch WRC than any other NZ sport like rugby!

I covered it for several years, taking photos for the (then) Evening Post. I loved it and I miss it so much. But that was back in the days when I had few bills, no responsibilities and no husband!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

If it doesn't involve Holden $hitboxes or homo's playing with their odd shaped balls then the kiwi's aint interested

once we've bombed out of the rugby world cup then perhaps other things might get a show in!
but with the cricket and netball etc, then again perhaps not!

Holden uber alles! Thou shalt not take thy lords name in vain, and his name is James Alexander Holden!
