    Two-stroke crank rebuild

I'm having a go at splitting a Vespa rotary valve crank, to swap a conrod.
So i did that, and pressed it back together, and Ive been trying to line it up by sitting it in some V blocks , running a dial guage on the rotary web, i've got it to .02mm, is this close enough? also what clearance can you have between the rotary pad and the web?

Turned out I was measuring .2mm, which was too much, & I was measuring in the wrong place, should measure on the ends of the shafts and .025 - .05 are pretty good run out. Cheers though. It'll blow it self to bits anyway when I put the malosi on it!
