WANTED: Budget Learner bike

Hey guys, Im looking for a lerner bike with very limited budget.

About $1000....

I want something that can follow guys in Auckland uni club when they have rides and something look-like old school bike

At uni parking I see black GB250? parked everyday and it looks sooooo cool!!! I want one look like that if possible.

If not I dont mind any kind of bikes but Im only 159cm with short legs so something I dont have to stand with my tiptoes while waiting at lights!!!

Am I dreaming with this budget? I can't really spend much more because gotta buy gears etc...

Yea I could try make him a offer, how much is the shipping? I heard its about $250?

That GN doesnt start so I'm not too sure how much work I need to get it going (I dont have much experience with spanners as well, I can take stuff to bits and pieces with screw driver but it never put together again XD)

GT125 is 2stroke so I'm not so sure if its good or not... Squiggles reckons its too temperamental...

Honda, It looks good. Only problem is its also needs shipping or perhaps use weekend to go there and pickup? Few people are already interested so don't know how high the price go.
