KB salmon chasers?

Just out of curiosity how many here chase the salmon?

I know we can be a solitary lot but I wouldn't mind a day on the river together somewhere this coming season Like a BBQ beer etc.

I'd be into that

I hunt them down & catch them not just chase them
It's a family thing that's been happening longer than the 2 wheeled entertainment has

Early morning starts are the best though, being on the water pre-dawn is essential to keeping the odds of a catch in our favour

Had been thinking about putting a similar type of thread up closer to the start of the season or at least when the Salmon start running the rivers, the Rangi & Rakaia are always 1st late October early November to get the big chunky fat buggers
