    I'm new here (Oldfulla)

    hello all,
as the title says, I'm new here. Well My ride is an 05 zx636, a sexy blue colour, yay baby. I'm always up for a ride around the South Waikato Rotorua area, although, not that fast as I'm still learning. Only had the bike 6wks and I still grin like an idoit everrytime I'm it.

    so thats me.

Had the pleasure of following some dude from cambridge to Tirau who was on his way to Rotorau on a brand new, rather fast, mean sounding Aprilia RSV 1000 factory today. Either He rides really fast, or I'm real Nana when it comes to riding. He mentioned Kiwi Biker and a track day at taupo tomorrow when we were stopped at cambridge BP. So Mr Aprilia, if you read this, thanks for the lesson on speed, it was exciting/scarey.

    Cheers

    Hey there Old Fulla.

    Welcome to KB.

Brother in Law and I scooted through Putaruru the other day when we were killing the afternoon.

Plenty to keep you entertained informed and make you cringe mixed up in these pages.

No problem riding like a nana, you got to go at YOUR pace.

How very true in both sentences

Most problems happen when you try to keep up with someone and don't hold it to your own limits.

    Welcome aboard from the middle!!!!

A big Thank you to Marty at typeface for sponsoring me to have a go in my first race

Welcome! I used to travel around the area when we lived in Morrinsville. There are some nice roads West!

Like other's here have said, please don't outride your skill level trying to keep up with faster riders! You can be dead before you've realised you've crashed!

    Sounds like you're a returnee?

Welcome in. I ride the back roads up your way quite a bit. Generally ride by myself but would be more than happy for some company. T'morrow and next week end are out but will p.m. you (if you're interested) next time I'm heading your way.

Welcome to your new family Oldfulla!!

Your life will never be the same..

    Jen

ps: PLEEEEASE take the time to really get to know your bike.. and it's & your capabilities.. before you try to "keep up"!! Ride to what you feel "comfortable with" for now.. as you get to know your bike, & your confidence grows.. you will get faster!! We REALLY don't like reading "biker down" threads on here..

    thanks

    Hi guys
thanks for the welcome, yeah I'm fully aware that I could end up very dead very quickly if I try to out ride myself.

How old is old, only 32. I have had this name online for a few years now and cant think of another one. It all came about from playing counterstrike and hanging out in the warez IRC chanels. Where in my mid to late 20s I felt very old compared to the young kids who kicked my butt in counterstrike. There have been some imposter oldfulla's over the years, but I am the orginal Muhaha. Being a High School teacher I do get reminded of my age most days by samrt ass teenagers hahaha.

yeah Trumpy PM when ya keen on a ride.

    Cheers
