I wanna see Wairarapa Bush hold the shield!!
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I've seen a pic of the Lions playing them in their heyday. Now the team is full of Wellington players who can't make their own team.

I'm finding this very hard to stomach i'm a passionate Mooloo man and i'm not really coping well with this loss cause it hurts.

But in saying that Canterbury you played a great game and gave us a game to humble us after last week well done and savor what the shield means as your coming challeneges by Hawkes Bay next should be a good game but sure your be successful in your first defence use it as a warm up for the game of the season against Auckland.

To all your Fans in CHCH and surrounding areas get behind your team the sheild is to be cheerished and treasured.

To the Waikato boys you done me proud in the second half pick yourself up we have Wellington next week - GO BOYS

Now i'm going to seek couselling for this loss

    Big Dan

    P.S. Go Warroirs

Dont be fooled by my current location, I am a Waikato farm boy born and bread.

And I prefer a good instant coffee any day
