Yeah, Derek from Sawyers phoned me today, and let me know bike is assessed. I called my insurer and let them know, now they have to contect sawyers, then contact me again after that, then sawyers again to give the go ahead for repairs

It's a race against the clock I tell ya

A while back I enquired as to how much a new front hugger was -> $210
Now, I've managed to scratch just about everything on the right hand side, munt my engine sump, and yeah, some of that special "technical paint" hehe...

The right side of the engine is quite badly scratched, and the little thingiemajig that has a protector over it, near your right foot, throttle/gear mechanism :S, is grazed down to the "bone"

Add in a mirror or two, indicator, possibly two headlights units (they run on pure gold I think, rather expensive jobbies), and it all starts to add up. But I'll get a complete run down of the damage when I go in sometime.

You'll be wanting airbags fitted all around her in future, just in case. Or you could just keep her in one of those nice trailers, all wrapped up in cotton wool. I know I would, at those prices!

Isn't it funny how if there's somebody you know who has an "off" it tends to slow you down for a while......I had a slight moment with the front slipping that day which brung me back into line so to speak. Have since changed front tyre cause it was lacking tread.
