    WTBorrow: motorcycle jacket (Christchurch)

I am in need of a motorcycle jacket.

My boss (who apparently likes me and is good looking to boot) would like a ride on the bike. She has decided that going to Akaroa would be the biz on Wednesday.

Unfortunately the one piece of gear I am missing is a jacket. I have pants, gloves, and a helmet that fit her.

The jacket poses a problem though.

So if anyone out there has anything that would be suitable and would like to help a guy score brownie points with a nice girl, that I could borrow for a day it would be much appreciated.

It needs to fit someone quite skinny and about 170cm tall.

Anything will be considered as it is for me. I plan on giving her my jacket and pants because they are fully adjustable.

You will of course get the jacket back in the same condition and I am happy to leave my wallet (minus drivers licence of course) to guarantee that I will bring the jacket back. You will also get a doz of your favourite beer.

    Cheers

Just make sure you break her in nicely, don't go trying to scare the crap out of her untill she's happy with the idea/ tells you to go faster or you might put her off bikes for life. Road to Akaroa would be a great road to take her on, hope you get good weather.

I definatly wont be scaring her.

I think she's hooked already though. I took her to work the other day (it was a 2 minute ride) and I went round a corner and hit a bump that I didnt see.

Hit it quite quickly to. It didnt faze her and she was grinning from ear to ear when we got to work.

I'll definatly be praying to the weather gods on Tuesday night. Bring on a fine sunny day.

EDIT: Stuart, I'll give you a bell sometime tonight regarding the jacket.

Hey Alex. If hairy stu's offer isn't suitable due to size or some other reason, I've got a spare you can borrow.

    Thanks for the offer Deviant.

Looks like we wont be going tomorrow as the weather is not looking to good, and there might be snow between here and Akaroa sometime during the night and I'd rather not run into that with a pillion on the back.

Rather not run into it at all but thats another story.

Thanks to all who offered their spare jackets. It's much appreciated.
