    Damn Weather

Well i got up this morning and had a shower as usual. look out the window thought, yuss a nice day finally i can get the bike out . Walk back to my bedroom look out that window which is facin the opposite direction to the bathroom and it is shitty cloud piling in pretty fast .

So in the end i left the bike at home it did rain and stopped and rained and stopped and is starting to rain again.

Now frankly im shit of this weather can someone sort it out!

Take it up with the Biker Gods. Pay the proper obeisance, and you should be able to get them to sort it out with the Weather Gods (or is it "Demons"?)
Might take sacrificing the odd newbie, burning a coupla rear tyres, trashing a few bikes, but it should be possible.
    Or not.

yeah well... same here but being a little further north it doesn't really matter so much. The gear gets wet but not that COLD wet you guys get down there.

I'm glad of that too - I have no choice except to take the bike. My only transport to work (and I LOVE IT!) :love2:

Typical Auckland day here. One minute blue sky, the next it's pissing down. Then the sun comes out again. Wind all the time. You get used to it.
Just invest in some good wet-weather gear and enjoy the ride. In 2 years' commuting I've only resorted to the car twice because of the weather. And on both occasions I regretted it because by late afternoon it was fine.

And we *all* know about the attention such behaviour is likely to garner from the Biker Gods.

    Don't we, firestormer...

I'll say, either it should rain properly and get over with or not at all.
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.

    Here we have another saying.

Auckland doesn't have climate. It has weather.

We should just about be right for weather, now that we've had JazBug, Zed, dhunt, XJ/Frosty and StoneChucker bin it, and MikeL and myself get tickets, (though not as significant as JRandom's ones), although we may still need to sacrifice a newbie, or burn a scooter.

ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION, BIKER GODS?

Ah. I see. So *my* ticket isn't good enough for Biker God appeasement. Fine. Be that way. I'll just take my ticket-that's-not-good-enough and go sulk in the corner then.
