    Why I'd trade up...

    Better colour scheme...
    :P

I commute roughly 40-70k's a day as my job requires site visits. That'd be a horrible thing to do to any 'performance' bike. Any bike with grunt at all.

And I've already been hit twice on push bikes and nearly punched the clock on my old FXR - for me speed in the city just gets you killed faster.

I'll buy my flatmates Fireblade if I want speed for the weekends, after the last two he binned he'll need my $$.

Long story short - Hyo's aren't about power. They're about very cheap, very good looking sporty commuting. The GPX looks like it fell straight out of the 80's - but I'm sure it is faster.

That might be because it *did* fall straight out of the 80's

You sure? When I demo rode one I thought it was pretty powerless. I have to admit I didnt really test it that well a few trips around the block up a hill etc.. didnt even go on the motorway with it so it might be good top end compared to the hyo. Im not exactly lite so maybe for those who are stick thin it goes like the shit?

I do agree with the comment though about who cares how fast it is yes it does look good it sits on the road well and be it a gv, gt, or gtr a very comfortable riding position (for me at least).
