On my way to work this morning

was on my way to work this morning as usual.... moderate rain 530am so still dark, came to the long blind corner with the fruit shop on the right as you head to kumeu, doing 90ks and just as i started to round the corner at a nice lean this logging truck came roaring around the corner and crossed the center line.

I am still trying to clean my pants

WTF is it too hard to stay in your own lane?

must say a big thank you to bigdog for teaching me so well.. otherwise... yeah....

That's a 50 zone. I once got ticketed for doing 83kph about 500m from there. Bad fireball.

its a 80km zone (im sure it is) ... its just up from the riverhead coatsville turn off past that big intersection where the pines have been cut out

Oh, hang on. You mean on SH16? I thought you were talking about Upper Harbour Drive. My mistake. I did wonder what on earth a logging truck was doing there...

hang on a minute...I think I know the one you mean, and yes, I'm pretty sure it's a 80kms one...

She said the pines have been cut down...... Could be a connection I'm thinking (shoulda been a detective me)
