i have been told . all i need is my passport . and i can live and work in new zealand. so i cant ride in aussie anymore . can i ride on my aussie licence in kiwi land

I believe that you that all you need to visit is the passport and can stay up to a year before we get sick of your Aussie accent and kick you out. However to actually work I believe you need a work permit. As for the lisence I am not sure but would assume that they would check all thati have been told . all i need is my passport . and i can live and work in new zealand

Im an ozzie, been working here for a year. you dont need any permits to work and you can stay here working forever or until you get sick of the rain. all you need to get is an ird number, ( equivalent of a tax file number). To bring your bikes over you need proof of ownership papers, go to the RTA and get them to print out stuff showing youve regestered them for x number of years if you dont have purchase papers. I think you also have to show youve canceled your australian rego. you dont have to pay taxes unless you sell the bike within a year or maybe 2. If your over for less then a year you can do some temp thing where you put up money that you get back when you leave the country so you dont have to change to nz rego. Ive kept my aussie licence to use over here as when i get pulled up they cant be bothered with the hassle and you tell them your leaving in a week or 2 and they let you off. hope this helps
