    Weekday rides (NOT Wednesday)

please people dont spoil this one.

this is for people that cant make other rides in the bay but would still like to ride in a group. this ride will NOT be happening on a wednesday! there is or will be another thread for that day.

my only days off are on a monday and tuesday and i know a few others have to work weekends or do shiftwork so i thought we could maybe arrange something for ourselves.

i suggest the same meet place as the weekend rides, the BP gas station on taradale road.

we can meet in the morning, afternoon or evening. this can be changed from week to week, just ask me at the meet before or drop me a line and i will edit the time into this 1st post so it is easily found and seen for others.

routes can be decided on the day. (better that way then cops cant read this and wait for us)

    any interest people?
i wouldnt want to be caught dead in the same grave as me.

How about a Monday or Tuesday night?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.

    we will remember them

    Sounds good Lee.
You need to ask for extended time to edit a post. I have lost the ability to edit my ones on the OZ trip.
I will be up for mid week rides from time to time after Christmas. Will tag this thread.
    Cheers

Or we could go and see Colapop for lunch in da summer

extended time to edit posts? thanks for the heads up steve i will speak to one of the moderators!

this is not a "midweek ride" thread, that is wednesdays only. this one is for any other day during the week!

another good idea for having rides on a regular weekday is that there will be less traffic on the roads and maybe we can do some slightly longer journeys, that depends on who is there though obviously!

aye lets go give colapop some stick, ride past his office window and wave at him while he is working!

During day light saving I might be able to sneek off for the day to trip down to Palmie or somewhare or Even the Big smoke so I will have to keep looking to see who is off for the day.

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Oh yea what an awesome day to be riding. Headed off from Napier and headed towards Patangata. Mi--le Road is awesome. What a buzz when that front comes down gently along thse straights pulling a few clicks. Had a nice feed at the pub and talking to the owner. They didnt finish till 3 in the morning. Appears they had a roaring party in there last night and at lunch time still hadnt recovered.
Headed thru to Elsthorpe and down the Tuki Tuk Valley. I still dont know about that road. Have to take a lot care on it as it will bite ya.
Took Lee for a scenic tour and went out to Te Awanga and had a rest for a while. Couple of other bikers had the same idea to head out there as well and it was a nice view of napier hill and the mountains with fresh snow on them. Awesome.
