Sounds like a good plan. Should be able to be there
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

Weather forecast not good for Sunday. Will do the Saturday ride, and on the fly decide Sunday to go to the sprints perhaps.

I won't be able to make this ride, I'm sorry.

My wife is going out for lunch on Saturday, oo I won't be able to join you all on the ride to Carterton, I'm sorry. Babysitting duty.

    Enjoy the ride, though.

There is no expectation, else I would put an 'attend' option in the calendar.

The Saturday morning rides are purely optional. You know as Forrest Gump said: 'life is like a box of chocolates, you do not know what you are going to get next.' 2 or 22 makes no difference.
