What side of the bed

A friend of mine and I were having a random conversation about what side of the bed we prefer to sleep on when sleeping alone.

I have come to the conclusion that most people (when alone) sleep closest to the door. So I just want to see if I can prove this theory right.

Hadn't really thought about it before - but yes I sleep on the left of the bed nearest to the door - even in motels etc...

EDIT: An ex used to sleep on the right side though(?) even when on his own, - at least that is where he was when I got home from nightshift ...

yeah.. how weird... the theory is being proven...

I myself like to be nearer to the open side of the bed (which is mostly near the door) mainly coz i hate having to crawl around to get off the bed if i go to pee at night.

and when i'm with someone, definately near the door, i don't like to disturb the other by climbing over them...

I like the left, McJim liked the left. So we comprimised and he got the left. When he's away I get the middle!

I believe a lot of celebrities have their own bedrooms and beds, which would be nice in some ways but I like my man in the bed.

Nah never thought why...

At home its closest to the door... at the moment, If I go away, then goto the right hand side... and other houses it's has been the right hand side away from the door... maybe I'm just weird... well I know I weird...
