    Looking for some new pants

After 6 months of riding my current Rjays pants are looking worse for wear. I've torn the liner in them and they now leak in heavy rain.
They've also never been very comfy.

To celebrate passing my restricted I'm treating myself to some new pants.
Can anyone recommend a comfy pair of textile pants (leather is out for cost and weatherproof reasons).

Ideally I need one good pair that I can wear all year round so breathability for summer and weather protection for winter are high on the list.

In terms of armour the more the merrier, at minimum knees and thigh padding, shin protection is a bonus.

I got my Revit pants from Motomail too and they are absolutely fantastic (waterproof, comfy, warm zip-out liner, nice cut and length). They're the womens fit ones of course but I'm sure the mens are good too.

How do you wear them out in 6 months?? Did you go sliding down the road in them or are Rjays pants just not that good??

    Anyone??

Rjays - you get what you pay for. $100 pants aren't going to be top of the line. also, sit up once in a while, the water that accumulates between your crotch and your gas tank is what gets in. i have these pants myself

I can vouch for these hundy dollar strides from Quasi, as I have a pair that I have been wearing for almost 12 months.

They keep all but the most storm like of water out provided you don't let puddles accumulate in your crotch, and ensure you have a jacket long enough that water doesn't sneak in around the waist, especially at the back.

As far as 'cheap' pants go, the Quasi hundy-ish buck range are a bloody good entry level pair for those of us on tight/starter budgets.

They aren't so much as worn out as coming apart. The lining tore one day as I was putting them on and every day the tear gets a little bigger.
The stiching is also starting to come apart in a couple of places

They are still mostly waterproof but in heavy rain they leak pretty quickly.

Haven't been for a slide along the road yet, hope I can avoid that all together.

The Revit pants look pretty good, might whit into Motomail this week after work.

+1 for Revit. Look good, great fit, decent waterproofing.
