Dingo's alright for a ginga Aussie.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Cheers

Thanks Hitcher, for the comments. Any and all advice is welcomed and appreciated.

Catch you on the next ride. Just haven't figured out which one it is going to be yet. Saturday's one or the Toy run, or TCSMR......Hmmmmm tough choices...

    Cheers

Ahh Wellington eh, so many rides, so few passes, or is it petrol money??
Anyway that hill seems daunting until you've done it a few hundred times, then it becomes second nature to ride it, just always give it some respect otherwise it'll catch you asleep one day and watch for the arseholes who own the road (The other arseholes in the cars).
Glad you fellas had fun, sorry couldn't come, but I went down to the pond and quacked at the ducks later on.

    ....
Coins for petrol not so much of a problem. It's the passes that are hard to come by....

And very sound advice Thanks Mrs KD, will do....

    Was a good ride.
And after over a year and 3/4's of riding it was my first TCWNR (I've been down to the meeting place a few times, but this was the first time I went on the ride)

Only thing I didn't enjoy was (on the trip back) watching a stone fly up from Drum's bike 100m in front of me and curve it's way around to hit me in the head (not to mention the 10 or so I collected in the arms and chest due to sitting behind the two Stokes boyz)

Will see you all on Saturday, and hopefully Sunday as well for the toy ride.
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.

So you learnt another wonderful reason why not to follow to close. I had a car pull over a few feet for me only to put it tyre in the middle where fresh chip showered me!!!!

Ah yes, love it when they pull over 2 ft on a gravel road at 80k and wave you past.

    Still, suppose they're actually trying...

    Very.

    oops. Sorry 'bout that.

I really enjoyed the ride back over the hill - no cages on the way up, so uninterupted lines and the sun dipping below the horizon. Nice cool evening. Beauty.

I had a blast too...was only my thrid time over the hill in the last 8 months.

I had the honour of leading the ride last night, it's bloody tough sticking to the speed limit down SH2 so I gave the R6 a well deserved squirt on the hill.

In memory of Uncle B I was focusing on riding smoothly rather than just trying to ride fast and it felt really good!

Anyway...passes are tough for me to get at the moment too and when I get them I'm using them to race my bucket...so I may catch up with you all again next week, but probably not.

    Cheers
