Bit of this, bit of that...
Maybe aye They are almost in my price range for second hand ones now so a hybag for winterseries on the track and summer on the roads is an attractive option. The Wainui boys one has served the well on the track so far and it is certainly good value for money compared to wanking up the VFR.

Forecast for tomorrow is FAB. So who else is up for a ride?
Aye aye .

I've heard a few "pop early" stories (including a 650 seizing completely), quite a lot of "buggered rear shock" and not many "pop late". It appears that once a Hyobag is over it's infant mortality thing they're generally good to go. Mind you, 13,000k is not exactly infant mortality and it is outside the warranty IIRC.

TSS has confirmed there is something wrong with the engine... I think they are going to start pulling it apart tomorrow and find out what exactly the problem is. Then they will contact hyosung and try to get it fixed under warrenty, seeing as how the engine should last a little longer than it has.
Hopefully Hyosung will decide to be good buggers and fix it under warrenty.
It sucks so much having to drive everywhere
While you sit there liking things just cos' everyone else does, I'll be standing up here keeping it real.
BTW: Aye aye aye a ride - over the hill to the place of tin?
Here for the ride.
Rats! I have another function to go to![]()
You also have a redress under the Consumer Guarantees Act. There is a general expectation when you buy the bike that it will last at least 50,000km before needing some replacement parts. But at no time as you say, would you expect a total mechanical failure within 100,000km at the very least.
The Act basically says that you are right. "Manufacturer's Warranties" have really been superseded by the Act where the test of your reasonable expectations when you made the purchase becomes the defining factor.
That's not a card to play lightly though. Wait until all othe avenues have been exhausted
I will be at the Chatham Is Lodge tonight.....but I will be thinkin of ya's
