Seriously tho if you're worried about riding back in the dark my wife would be stoked if I was home a bit early.

With daylight saving running a bit longer this year it will get a bit darker yet. Eventually TCWNR will stop for the winter and we'll meet on Sunday's instead.

pah, we rode until about halfway into winter last year - it was dark at 5

the only reason to leave sooner (and you newbies will soon work this one out) is that i dont like sitting in the fucking cold waiting for half an hour for stragglers and late arrivers to turn up

admitedly this year will be different for me as it takes alot more time to get from town to the duck pond as compared with from lower hutt...

And, yes riding in the dark is a 'test' for newbies like me even though I have been driving for yonks... Looking forward to tomorrow - the weather should be great - not TOO COLD!!

... now where did I put the liner for my jacket...

no, that was definately a challenge - leaving early, racing over paekak, ugh.. for me who doesnt like boring distances that really sucked

Well I'm considering to venture out tonight and was thinking....whatever happened to the Pizza run that was supposed to occur as one of the 1st rides for the season?

Did it happen?
Is Elle still cooking?
Is Elle's pizza World Famous in Carterton yet?
If I were to sally forth, would I be met with "Pizza Resistance" (orright "Piece-de-resistance) or just another Mother Hubbards Cupboard?
Where is Elle's anyway?
and for that matter.....where is Elle?

Maybe a kindly 'Rapa Rider' could enlighten me and assist in the decision making process for whether, where and if I ride tonight.

Do you think we would upset anyone if we arranged to leave late and sneak over the hill to sample some gastronomic delights? That is assuming said pizzas are OK and there's no options like 'Kina Marinara' or '4 Seasons Rotten Corn'!!

Probably, best we leave well early eh? Late lunch perhaps? Early enough to let it settle before afternoon tea... then a brief fang before dinner. Got a menue/establishment in mind?
