May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Sorry if I gave you the impression i was refering to you. Earlier in the thread there was so discussion on people with small tanks and low fuel economy.
The real mystery is how come that fat bastard Hurley has never lost any weight.

Why not hook-up with Bandit Rider & Blue Bandito and ride down to the start then peel off on the way back. That way you complete the whole circuit of 1000Kms.

Is it just irony that this post is at 5.53AM?

For those with concerns on breakdowns...Please note that Wannabiker is kindly providing a trailer for the day and Nasty is on duty as Trailer Rider. (Let's hope we don't need her)

Looks like we might cop a little rain on the last leg but otherwise it should go round us: http://www.metservice.com/default/in...armrainoutlook ...and after this years GC....what's a little rain.

So far we have 16 registered + 2 confirmed but unregistered (Mr Nerve2) and for the 3 early risers from Palmy...the offer for beds is still available for that extra 1½ hours sleep and good coffee. Flyers were dropped in the Bike shops so there maybe more to come yet. (You need to complete the 1000Km for a certificate...whether you start in Wellington or Elsewhere)

We have 150cc and 250cc bikes registered so there's no excuses for not participating.

    Only 3 more sleeps...

That's what I'm afraid of! Sleep, I can sometimes go without, but coffee....too terrible to contemplate

Nope, Meanie sleeps very well in his king size, leather lined, heated, fully adjustable, automated silver suite and is therefore very well rested every day

Sounds good. I'm thinking I will come down and stay at Mums Friday night which will be nice Does that still count towards the 1000 Kms?

Thats a blardy good weather map. I had a look at the met service site earlier today but didnt look at that one. hats the sort of info that I fine very helpful.
Big ups to Wannabiker & to Nasty. Let hope the trailer arrives back without any broken machinery on it.
Looking forward to an average coffee and the Caltex servo before we get away
