Thinking about the above aleration.
Have found a frame (bare not rolling) for a slabside 750, for $450
I understand that the 1100 and therefore the GSF engine will slot straight into the frame.
Front end can be from any bike (Suzuki)
Not sure about the swinging arm. Can an 1100 swinging arm be fitted?
Read a lot on the bike boards around the world (mainly Europe) about this conversion and all seem to praise it.
I know modern machines are already where this conversion will take me but it sounds like fun.
A drop in weight of about 30 kg, boost the hp of my 1200 engine with the spare heads, cams, carbs and exhaust system I have managed to acrue.
