Darn glad you are ok Andrew. Bike does not look that bad more like cosmetic. I think I'll go invest in a pair of frame sliders
Don't just live to ride but ride to live.
lol he's not 15 till july, so for now it's the "spare bike" and seeing as it corners so damn effortlessly well i don't mind if it's got no power.... might save me getting another speeding ticket (yeah right!)
yeah now i wish i had had them
the subframe is bent sideways a fair bit and a radiator got squished and now leaks, but otherwise the rear was scratched/bent slightly anyway and the front is fibreglass so repairable with a bit of work
i might redo the rear fairings too and have the whole bike looking brand new again, keep the original honda paintjob and all
my homage to the best 400cc bike ever manufactured![]()
Well I've never really crashed on the road(like chrislost).
Only dropped bike in embarhassing manner in middle of road when petrol ran out and I was stopped.
But I did manage to have a pretty good bang up on the track last weekend.
First crash. I am no longer the virgin I used to be.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
yeah, then chris knocked it off the tank onto the ground anyway lol
there's a couple of "scuffed on ground" marks among th barbed wire scratches too. pretty glad i was wearing all my gear and i landed mostly in grass without propely hitting the fence (and glad that before highsiding i dodged that power pole)
had that helmet for two years now, i think it might be time for a new one anyway
did anyone's helmet not get dropped/kicked on that ride?
lmao you reminded me that Chris kicked my helmet lolol

it's going to live in the shed till the radiator is sorted.... managed to get david's cbr straightened yesterday so hoping mine will be just as successful
i proposed writing it off and using insurance to buy another one but dad's trying to teach me a lesson by making me fix the fairings.... plus my uncle is a panelbeater so it's not like i don't have the means to fix them....
would appreciate the extra hands bending the rear back though
