Don't be offended! The market will decide what it's worth! It's not always what you think either, but then again, you only need one buyer!
Currently, the market does not think a lot of the late 70's early 80's factory custom / chopper things. Time might change that!
You might wanna hang onto it a lot longer! It might be worth more!
Good luck!
Hi Midnight
As you can see from my public profile I have the XV750 special. I have owned this since 1988. I saw one recently at Red Baron that was renovated to near perfect condition and I think they wanted about $3500 for it (can't quite remember exactly, but I was going in to order some parts so I'll tell you what it is if it's still there).
I personally have know idea what mine is worth, but I have had it so long (I bought it with only 5000k on the clock) but it hasn't always been my number one vehicle hence it only has 61k on the clock now. My bike definately needs cosmetic work but is otherwise in original condition, despite the critics on this thread there is a market for this type of bike and the 1000cc version must generate a bit of a premium.

Yup! Everything goes in cycles. last year 60's triumph's were red hot and the price was bloody stupid. BSA twins slid backwards, Nortons were static and I think everyone that want a classic RD350 already has one.Originally Posted by カワサキキド
