And once again, the madness of the Coro takes it toll...
Time is fleeting, got to go riding!
It's time to do the Coro!

And I's gets to do it again tomorrow hyuk!

Yes, I did the half coro by myself when the others decided to sack out on the sundrenched porch, quenching their thirst with Kev's home brewed beer and snacking on bangers and mussels (freshly picked kaimoana!)

Must say, crazy cagers on the coro (par for the course), watched them drift over center lines, cut corners and do dodgy things!

Only pucker moment was when I was heading up around a blind corner and ol'spidey sense just meant I had to hug left ... and around comes a concrete truck straddling the white line! Gah, if I was riding my normal line I'd be fender paste But apart from that, all good!

Lovely scenery, excellent twisties and they have really improved the road surfaces from the loose metal from before. Just the usual roadworks being carried out with the stop lights.

And... I get to do it all again tomorrow! Spot ya like a done digger at the Autobahn early tomorrow!

Yeah thanks heaps for the hospo Kev and your other mate that was there (forgot his name). I went down just for the day and sat on the deck drinking home brews and eating mussels too. A wicked spot and awesome pad you have there Kev. Be a shame to let it go mate.

I'd like the opportunity to return the hospitaility some time, or at least supply a few beers and sausages next time.

Cheers again guys - and hope the second day of riding went well.

Just got back a half hour ago, was great to put some faces to your KBer name, what an awesome days riding with you guys thanks. Sorry guys, but the video camera didn't record any video footage (something to do with the memory card crapping out) like EJ eating a muesli bar while riding through the twisties or me passing Scracha on the Ducati and no, he wasn't stopped!! and then to have him blast past 30 seconds later with the awesome sound of the Duke. Or my moment when the back let go and I almost hit the barrier.
    The Pics:

Pic 3: The Ninja next the "awesome Ducati".

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

Crap about the video camera Deano.

Those last two would have to be the funniest moments for the day.

Anyone want to compare the amount of k's they did today? (I took the long way home and managed 490!!!)

That was THE BEST ride ive ever been on, great weather, great roads, great bikes, great food and great company.

    Thanks to all who attended.

Looking foward to another if it happens again.....

I did somthing like 350 today, went back via Waihi beach, was nice to take a break on the beach for a while.

We all thought yesterday after a few beers that since Kevs place is for sale, we'd all buys shares and have it as a starting and layover point for KBer's doin the loop. Ahhh, the great ideas we have with the help of alchohol.

No, I kept my speed up so that wouldn't happen.

Its called shit suspension, and too much riding (though there can never be enough)
