Would you buy this helmet?

Hey guys just came across this Nolan N61 "Mosquito" helmet off trade me and the guy is doing it for $199.

What I like to know is, is it worth it?, any of you out there heard of this specific one and what's your experience from Nolan helmets?

(yea I know, Casey Stoner wears it)

Hey I've got Nolan Helmets .I find them Excellent Good quality easy to get acessories for fairly quiet an well priced, There real easy to change visors on an the vents are easily operated with gloves on.

We've got the Nolan N102 flip-up so I like the brand. But I wonder where this comes from and why its for sale so cheap if it's as great as he makes it out to be? Stolen?

I have 3 Nolan helmets. N27, N81, and N102. The N27 is the most comfortable and quietest helmet I have ever owned. Unfortunately they stopped making this model about 10 years ago. My day to day helmet is the N81 which is a pretty good all round helmet, and the N102 is my newest one. I've only worn it once to check the fit etc, and I'll start using it on the Mini returns run next year.

Considering, postage & handling, GST, untrustworthy sellers... eek..

I usually find the item, check out the sellers feedback, decide whether it's phoney or not then google their business name to find whether they have a website, then I buy direct from the site (otherwise I usually steer clear). Haven't had any issues yet, although there's always the possibility it's some spotty 12 year old running a bogus site from their bedroom.

When I say its cheaper I mean it's usually cheaper. I could find out how by much, but that would save you the fun of doing it

I just bought a helmet last week. I tried on Medium, Large and Xtra large in a couple of different brands and they were all different sizes and inside shapes. After that experience I would not consider buying a helmet online unless I knew how the exact size of that particular brand and model suited my head.(Maybe I have a weird shaped head?) A few extra dollars you save buying online instead of at the bike shop may make for hundreds of hours of discomfort in the long run. You ever worn a bad fitting helmet on a long trip? Its a real pain in the neck - i mean literally a real pain in the neck.
