DAMN is all i have to say tottered out there on the 250 to have a bit of a watch and holy crap you guys go fast i mean i was thinking hmmmmmmmm have a putter around the track practising cornering ect or something at a training day or whatever. But when i saw bluninja being on an rsvr being passed on ether side by 2 gixxer1000's down the front staight all i though was.... i don't think so. But it was great to meet you guys and cast googly longing eyes at your impressive vehicles(except kk have you fixed that bloody handel bar) . But anywho last you all when you decided motorway cuising speed had changed to 150k/h

Hope to catch you all at the next one cheers

    Hey Affman
Don't be depressed. It might be a bit intimidating, but it sure as hell looked a lot of fun. I'm willing to take my CB400 onto the track next time and make a fool of myself. Why not join me? (We can have a contest to see who can get lapped the most by the others...)

Hey aff-man I lost count of haw many times I got lapped but it doesn't matter!!  (hehe cause i'm a girl)    lol

Seriously though, just get out there and have a good time.  You will love it!!!

KiwiDan and Kiwistorms Gang Bang on Bluninja was a once off thing, they played nicely outside of that

Yeah I had a great time!  Bit of a traffic jam in the corners but still a lot of fun.

I've discovered my bike is a bit off the pace on the straights as Mitch and the other black GSXR400 were pulling away from me but hopefully I'll be able to keep up with them this weekend at Taupo.

Very impressed with Mitchs wet riding too.  As soon as it started raining everyone came in except for us F3ers.  I slowed down too but Mitch was still screaming around - if that had been a race I wouldn't have had any show of keeping up with her!

    about that rain...

I'd just like to say I have a really good reason for coming in! I nearly painted the armco by the back straight entry a nice shade of green (and red) after the rear came out from under me on the gas! (now I know why those racing commentators get so worked up when  semi-highside happens on TV... they've done it themselves!). I didn't really fancy the idea of binning my only transport/2nd love/myself for the sake of a few wet laps.

But full credit to those who stayed out... an awesome day

yeah stink my bike handlebars fixed pretty much dad wanted to ride the bike on sunday and gave me the typical lecture of "what, so you were still riding it like this? sorry son but thats just not sane! dont you understand the handle bar is almost ready to sheer off?" blah  blah, wasnt mad, just did the pretend to care lecture thingy but still, yeah we looked underneith the bar holder thingy, and theres a fracture along the underside i wonder how many more K's i coulda done b4 it did just fall out? i woulda been keen to find out if it wasnt for him! so nothing a bit of banging with hammer, araldite, and tightening (HARDOUT!) or the screw thingy didnt seem to fix... saved me $35 too!  oh and the backseat no longer hits ur back and falls off when u brake, he fixed that for me, damn that made the bike more fun

well. thats it from me, and u guys better check the KIWIBIKER BBQ thread under RAVE ON section ALRITE!

hey ck, as i said before. i was surprised to see that everyone left when it started to rain. we grabbed the opportunity to have a munch, and then when we arrived back at the track no one else was riding besides Hoon. did everyone not pay $80 dollars?? still had another 2 sessions on a dry track with only 3bikes.

Mitch- is there a track day at taupo on sat (aug 9)
    and racing on sunday?

ok mike i'll start saving now , gotta love being a poor student but with a top speed of about 165 170ish i think i'll win the being lapped title but getting down around the corners could be fun. Question for those out there i spent my all my money on the kbc gear you saw me in should i ride in that or save up a bit and buy a pair of leather pants???

Where can i find out when all the up and comin riding/training/whatever days are??

Ah, c'mon. You're much lighter than those bikes. You should be able to carry much higher cornering speed. Not to mention that your bike is slimmer, so you will lean much more.
