well there go my chances i think.. i Put the carbs back on all cleaned out and everything, all happy that now my bike has carbs that are attached fully go to start it and shes very hesitent.. hmm, a slight chuff chuff from 1 cylander maybe... then i wonder what that wet feeling on my foot is.. strange, do all carbs pour petrol out of the bottom of them? or just my supa dupa worked on racing carbs (rofl!).  i dunno where its coming from, maybe that little pokey out hte bottom thing, but quite possibly not actually.. strange, it is literally pouring out when i try and start her.. so what havnt i attached?

Well made it (slowly) through the weekend. I finally woke up in the last race taking 2 seconds out of my best lap time on the standing start lap and carving 7 seconds off my best lap from race 2......so I didn't get lapped! No crashing, no dramas at the hairpin or the esses. Since I'd modded the bikes ignition I thought I might have screwed up the power somehow. So I paid $25 for 3 runs on the dyno (after the last race) and it showed 66 bhp at 10K revs and a power curve that was almost a straight line up from 5k. So damn there went another excuse.

So weather permitting I will be along on Saturday trying not to go too slow

Sounds like you're making sound progress Blu

Most importantly is the fact your out there racing, not perpetually getting ready like some younger members.!

We need a course here in Whg, if I go it'll be my 1st time at a track... I'd probably find myself watching. I don't fancy breaking my new mirrors.

KK, I didn't mention any names

Sounds tough although you could say no, and I wonder how much is your own doing?

Remember, unlike Wkid 1, our comments about you are mean't to spur you to action boy, not bring ya down.
