Wel nice to meet so many KBers today, and a nice few sessions slowly circulating on my RSVR holding Mitch up through the twisty parts

I've got home changed into my new T-shirt (thanks Spankme) and worked out how to set my laptimer on the RSVR, so all is well with the world.

Look forwrad to all the pics being posted.

I enjoyed meeting all the stalwart KB bikers today. A great bunch despite what their posts may suggest.

KK turned up senza motocycletta da corsa to a barrage of flack but took it in good turn.

As unofficial time keeper (who couldn't read his own watch) I am happy to announce CK wasn't the nanny rider his times indicated. A complex conversion factor indicates his average was 1min, 11 sec, not bad for a lanky white boy. Blu your times were much better than I told you at an average of 1min, 17 sec.

The fastest one I recorded was Mr R1 at 1min, 5sec.

Great day all round I thought.

Good to see that every biker out there was a member or at least a lurker. Have already posted images of the day in the gallery. Also have this short movie clip. It felt good to get the SV1000s out in the track; I only wish it hadn’t started raining as I was starting getting the hang of it.

Well by looking at those pics I can say I'd get beaten if I took my FXR there... glad I didn't... I'll just borrow my mates FZR next time

Any ideas as to when the next one might take place?

    Good day indeed!

happy to meet some new KB'ers (to me) and others for the second time which helped me remember them lots more and now i can put a face to the post.

Got me some good info from sombody i still forgot/wasnt told the name of?

mitch who was that dude anyways?

and dayum that burger was good, worth every last penny. i wish i hada got out there just not on the ZXR, it has started going from 3-4cylanders occasionally now :S?

anyways one thing i must say: i am VERY happy and satisfied with being a slow rider - you guys all carve me! jsut coming onto the motorway i opened the ZXR up, gave me crap all power as its still having these problems, then i saw the tail end of the group (hehe thats you SPMAN!) shoot off, only to look down @ me speedo and say in my helmet "WTF? but im doing 140kmph~!" stuff that - cant afford handle bars let alone tickets!

so i slowed down and rode all by my lonesome well, watching aff-man in my rear view for a while, good to see u wernt pressured into catching up aff-man - as i wasnt.

anyways thats it from me! oh and i might try fix that handle bar tomorrow, so long as it dont cost me

BB 1 min 17s huh? Well only 17 seconds to lop off to be really on the pace

It's a good job I was holding Mitch up, or she'd probably have been down to the 1 09s.

KK I can only think you must be talking about Malcolm, races a seriously modified Ducati as well as the RSVR.

Andy1 your almost right, have speedo but no speedo cable attached

I think 47's top speed is about 195ish.  (down hill with a back wind)

Was fantastic to meet all you guys!!!!!  I didn't expaect you all to be so abnormal   it was a nice suprise!!

    Look forward to next time.

Kiwistorm, What with all the flack I was getting from CK about his pathetic times (being wrong), trying to figure out the watch, had for eight years and never used as a stop watch, I wasn't on top of things.

It also took me a while to sort you to out as both bikes were the same coloured blur and I couldn't remember whose helmet was what colour. So thats why only got one time for you and two for Dan. I'll be ready next time.

i was amazed how fast ur bike is mitch. didnt seem like u slow down at all when it was raining, and ck u are really fast man! maybe some rennsports are needed and u be kicking arse.

while i was on the track for a couple of laps i was passed by most of ya, but i was not to keen on stacking a $20,000 dollar bike.

p.s what was the top speed of the k3?? any speedo?

Andy I didn't pass you know what you mean about the risk of stacking an expensive bike. Just had a look at some of the pics.....maybe if I leaned the bike over I would go faster....I should change my name to the Upright Man.

Malcolm ( the guy on the blue RSV...not an RSVR, but he's put ohlins on the rear) gave some really good advice.....go slower to go faster. I've almost got the first part

BTW I'm just about to clean both bikes and I've checked out the tyres.....the RSVR tyres (Avon sports front, sports/tourer rear) and they have hardly marked at all, whereas the pirellis on the SV are pretty scrubbed and worked. Seem the Avons even at lower pressures aren't getting up to temp...must try harder.

Just looked at the photos and there are great racers in the group.

As for the food stop, couldn't you talk the autobarn into letting you park INSIDE the restaurant?
