    LilSel's Mini Project

As I said last night at the pub... Today was a day to be spent down at the workshop playing with my Mini

Here are some piccies... Isn't she beautiful!!?!!

Took all the bits etc that were sitting in it & blew all the dust out & washed inside & out (felt a bit wrong hosing out the inside of a car tho... lol)

Hoping to have the inside sprayed next weekend & then I can start putting her back together. It has been over 6 years since I last drove her!... A project that went on the back burner for a few TOO many years.

She'll be back on the road in no time, esp with help from dad & Blue_Eyez.

Watch this space for updates/pics & more funky vids ...

Are you leaving the rear seat in? If you angle grind off the front half of it, you'll be able to move the front seats back enough that adults can sit in it.
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Parents are self employed, we own the building/workshop ...
So... I guess you can call it... my other garage?!... lol...
The one here at home is big enough for 6 cars, so once I've done the essentials down at the workshop, I'll bring her home so its easier for me to work on her etc...

I can see it now tho... *my friends* 'Where is Suz?'... 'Oh prob in the garage again'... hehe

I had some free time ... N that's the plan... hoping to have inside sprayed next weekend.

Have the wiring loom (new 2nd hand one, if that makes sense)... in my subaru as wanting to get a new one made using the other as a template.

Pulled every single wire etc outta her but wanna put NEW everything back in, even down to the wiring, every nut bolt & screw... no shortcuts here!

Jeez, the 1100 twin carbie should still rip some shit. Great to see your doing it all properly now.
My aunty used to have a mini done to look like Mr Beans right down to the bolt lock on the doors. Had a worked 1340 in it, so was a bit of a sleeper. Sold it a few years back though

hehe... yeah mini's aren't as slow as some think ...

That sounds awesome!... would've got a few looks i'd imagine!

I couldnt even think about parting with her, I learnt to drive in her, got my licence in her, drove to-from school (I was known as 'the girl with the mini') everyday. Plenty of road trips with friends.
